أحمد سامي

أحمد سامي، اسمه الحقيقي أحمد الشبلي، مطرب ليبي برز نجمه من خلال برنامج "ركن الهواة" الذي كان يشرف عليه الفنان الراحل كاظم نديم بن موسى، ويُعد من أبرز الأصوات الليبية التي برزت في ستينات وسبعينات القرن الماضي. تنوّع في أدائه بين الأغاني العاطفية وأغاني الصباح والأغاني الوطنية، وتعاون مع ملحنين منهم إبراهيم أشرف وكاظم نديم وعطية محمد وهاشم الهوني، ومع شعراء منهم مسعود القبلاوي وعمر المزوغي وأحمد الحريري. من أشهر أغانيه "يا غالية" و"يا محلى الليل" و"زي الذهب". توفي عام 1986.

Ahmed Sami, whose real name was Ahmed al-Shibli, was a Libyan singer who rose to fame through the radio talent show "Rukn al-Huwah", overseen by the late artist Kadhim Nadim bin Musa, and is considered one of the leading Libyan voices to emerge in the 1960s and 1970s. He performed romantic songs, morning songs and patriotic songs alike, and worked with composers including Ibrahim Ashraf, Kadhim Nadim, Attia Mohammed and Hashim al-Hawni, and with poets including Masoud al-Qablawi, Omar al-Mizoughi and Ahmed al-Hariri. Among his best known songs are "Ya Ghaliya", "Ya Mahla al-Layl" and "Zay al-Dahab". He died in 1986.
