الشيخ البهلول أبوعرقوب منشد وملحن ليبي، ومدرّس للقرآن الكريم ومتخصص في علوم المقامات والأصوات. يؤدي المديح والذكر والمالوف الليبي، وعُرف بأدائه ضمن مجموعة بستان المادحين إلى جانب عبد الباسط الورفلي ومحمد المدهون. من أعماله المسجلة أناشيد مثل صلى الله على النبي ويا ربنا وحب النبي طيب في طيب ويا سيد السادات جيتك قاصدًا، ومن ألحانه نشيد إلى حجرة الهادي عن نص من ديوان الشيخ أحمد البهلول وموسيقى البرنامج التلفزيوني تأملات في الكون على نظم الشيخ محمد أبوعجيلة الشريف.
Sheikh Al-Bahloul Bouargoub is a Libyan munshid and composer, a teacher of the Quran and a specialist in maqam and vocal studies. He performs madih, dhikr and Libyan malouf, and is known for his work with the Bustan al-Maddahin ensemble alongside Abdelbasit al-Warfalli and Mohamed al-Madhoun. His recorded pieces include the anashid Salla Allah ala al-Nabi, Ya Rabbana, Hubb al-Nabi Tayyib fi Tayyib and Ya Sayyid al-Sadat Jitka Qasidan. He also composed the nashid Ila Hujrat al-Hadi, set to a text from the diwan of Sheikh Ahmed al-Bahloul, and the music for the television programme Taammulat fi al-Kawn on verses by Sheikh Mohamed Abuajila al-Sharif.
