علي ويكا الجهاني

علي فرج الجهاني، الملقب ب"علي ويكا"، مطرب وملحن شعبي ليبي من بنغازي. تعلم العزف على آلة الناي، وبرز في غناء الموال الذي أدخله إلى الغناء الشعبي الليبي خاصة في فترة السبعينيات. عمل أيضا في مجال الملاحة البحرية وتولى إدارة ميناء بنغازي. توفي عام 2009.

Ali Faraj al-Jahani, known as "Ali Wika", was a Libyan popular singer and composer from Benghazi. He learned to play the nay and was influenced by Tunisian folk art, becoming known for singing the mawwal style, which he introduced into Libyan popular singing, especially during the 1970s. He also worked in maritime navigation and headed the Port of Benghazi. He died in 2009.
