عطية محمد

عطية محمد، واسمه الكامل عطية محمد عطية الورشفاني، ملحن وموسيقي ليبي يُعد من كبار ملحني الأغنية الليبية. ولد في مدينة الإسكندرية ودرس الموسيقى بها وتخصص في آلة الأكورديون، ثم تخرج من المعهد العالي للموسيقى في القاهرة، وعمل بعد عودته مدرساً للموسيقى في مدارس طرابلس. التحق بالإذاعة الليبية عازفاً للأكورديون في فرقتها منتصف الستينيات، واعتُمد ملحناً سنة 1967، وكان أول ألحانه أنشودة «هيا نتطوع» للفنان محمد خليل. يتجاوز رصيده 130 عملاً بين الغناء والموسيقى التصويرية، ولحن لعبد اللطيف حويل ومحمد رشيد وأحمد سامي وخالد سعيد ومحمود كريم ويوسف عزت، ومن أشهر أعماله ألحان سلسلة أسماء الله الحسنى.

Attia Mohamed, full name Attia Mohamed Attia al-Warshafani, is a Libyan composer and musician counted among the leading composers of the Libyan song. He was born in Alexandria and studied music there, specialising in the accordion, then graduated from the Higher Institute of Music in Cairo and, on his return, taught music in Tripoli schools. He joined Libyan Radio as an accordionist in its ensemble in the mid 1960s and was accredited as a composer in 1967, his first work being the anthem "Hayya Nattawa'" for the singer Mohamed Khalil. His catalogue exceeds 130 works of song and incidental music, composed for Abdellatif Huwail, Mohamed Rashid, Ahmed Sami, Khaled Saeed, Mahmoud Karim and Youssef Ezzat, and includes the well known Asma Allah al-Husna series.
