عطية محسن

عطية محسن هو الاسم الفني للمطرب الليبي عطية فرج العمامي، من مواليد مدينة درنة سنة 1942. بدأ الغناء في ركن الهواة ثم في حفلات المدرسة والجامعة، وبرز اسمه الفني منذ سنته الثانية بالجامعة الليبية، وتخرج في كلية الآداب ببنغازي في دفعة 1971/1972. صار من نجوم الأغنية الليبية في الستينيات والسبعينيات، ومن أشهر أعماله «ما تحكيلي ع الحب» و«كلام الناس» و«ما عليا تغيبي» و«بلدي يا فرحة أيامي»، وتعاون مع الشاعر عبد السلام زقلام والملحن عبد الجليل خالد. توفي يوم 21 يونيو 1985.

Attia Mohsen was the stage name of the Libyan singer Attia Farag al-Amami, born in Derna in 1942. He began singing in an amateurs' segment and then at school and university events, adopted the stage name during his second year at the Libyan University, and graduated from the Faculty of Arts in Benghazi with the 1971/1972 class. He became one of the leading voices of Libyan song in the 1960s and 1970s, known for "Ma Tehkili Aa al-Hob", "Kalam al-Nas", "Ma Alaya Tghibi" and "Baladi Ya Farhat Ayami", working with the lyricist Abdessalam Zaglam and the composer Abdeljalil Khaled. He died on 21 June 1985.
