عز الدين محمد

عز الدين محمد كريم مطرب ليبي، وهو الأخ الأصغر للفنان محمود كريم. قدمه إلى الساحة الفنية الملحن عطية محمد في أواخر السبعينيات من القرن العشرين، وحققت أغنيته الأولى بلدي نجاحا واسعا واعتمدت في مسابقات المهرجانات المدرسية آنذاك. اعتزل الغناء وهو في قمة نجاحه لأسباب لم يعلنها، وترك أرشيفا من الأغاني الوطنية والعاطفية منها رشوا الأرض زهر وحنة واليوم الناير نورنا وقمر الليل ويا طير الحمام يا مسافر. توفي في العاشر من يناير 2023 عن عمر يناهز 69 عاما.

Ezzeddine Mohamed Karim was a Libyan singer and the younger brother of the singer Mahmoud Karim. He was introduced to the music scene by the composer Attia Mohamed in the late 1970s, and his first song, Baladi, was a wide success and was used in school festival competitions at the time. He retired from singing at the height of his success for reasons he never made public, leaving behind an archive of patriotic and romantic songs including Rashshu al-Ard Zahr wa Hinna, Al-Youm al-Nayer Nawwarna, Qamar al-Layl and Ya Tayr al-Hamam Ya Msafer. He died on 10 January 2023 at the age of 69.
