فيصل علي مطرب وملحن وموزع موسيقي ليبي من مواليد مدينة طرابلس، درس الصيدلة وتحصل على درجة البكالوريوس فيها قبل أن يتفرغ للعمل الفني، وبدأ مسيرته ضمن فرقة موسيقية تولى قيادتها. تعامل مع كبار الفنانين الليبيين، ومنهم إبراهيم فهمي الذي لحن له أول ألبوماته بعنوان "سمراي" من كلمات حسن الصيد، كما لحن ووزع للفنان سمير الكردي في بداياته. اتجه كذلك إلى العمل التلفزيوني فشارك سنة 1995 في المسلسل الرمضاني "اللمة والشاهي واللوز" إلى جانب سعد الجازوي وفتحي كحلول وصلاح الأحمر وزبيدة قاسم ومهيبة نجيب. يجمع في عمله بين الغناء والتلحين والتوزيع الموسيقي وتأليف الموسيقى التصويرية، ويعد من رواد الأغنية الليبية.

Faisal Ali is a Libyan singer, composer and music arranger born in Tripoli. He earned a bachelor's degree in pharmacy before devoting himself to music, starting out in a band that he led. He worked with leading Libyan artists, among them Ibrahim Fahmi, who composed his first album "Samrai" to lyrics by Hassan al-Sayed, and he composed and arranged for Samir al-Kurdi early in that singer's career. He also moved into television, appearing in 1995 in the Ramadan series "Al-Lamma wal-Shahi wal-Louz" alongside Saad al-Jazwi, Fathi Kahloul, Salah al-Ahmar, Zubaida Qasim and Muhaiba Najib. He combines singing, composing, music arrangement and film scoring, and is counted among the pioneers of the Libyan song.
