إبراهيم حفظي، واسمه الحقيقي إبراهيم عبد الله علمو، مطرب ليبي من مواليد منطقة البركة بمدينة بنغازي عام 1939، ويُعد من فرسان الأغنية الليبية في الستينات. تفتحت موهبته على أسطوانات كبار المطربين في مقاهي منطقة الفندق البلدي، ثم دخل الوسط الفني عبر برنامج "ركن الهواة" عام 1960 حين غنى "في جبلنا ارتاح" ونال إجازة صوته أمام لجنة ضمت صبري الشريف ويوسف العالم وعبد الحميد شادي. جاءت انطلاقته مع أغنية "متع أنظارك" (درنة عروس الوادي) من كلمات علي مرسي الشاعري وألحان صبري الشريف، وشارك في أوبريتات ليبية بارزة منها "ألحان خالدة" عام 1963 و"البادية" عام 1965، وصنع ثنائيات نغمية مع الملحن حسن عريبي. وفي عام 1967 صار أول فنان ليبي يقف على مسرح حفل "أضواء المدينة" بالقاهرة حيث غنى "من غيبة مناها" من كلمات عثمان الوزري. ومن أشهر أعماله "داري عذاب الشوق" و"لا يا حنين" و"كي ما تعرفنا مازلنا" التي عاد بها عام 2004، ورحل في الثاني عشر من يوليو عام 2024 عن عمر ناهز الخامسة والثمانين.

Ibrahim Hafzi, whose real name was Ibrahim Abdullah Almo, was a Libyan singer born in the Al-Baraka district of Benghazi in 1939, and is counted among the leading voices of Libyan song in the 1960s. His talent formed around the records of great Arab singers played in the cafes of the Al-Funduq Al-Baladi quarter, and he entered the professional scene through the radio programme "Rukn Al-Huwat" in 1960, singing "Fi Jabalna Irtah" and earning his vocal licence before a panel that included Sabri Al-Sharif, Youssef Al-Alem and Abdel Hamid Shadi. His breakthrough came with "Matte' Anzarak" (Derna Arous Al-Wadi), written by Ali Morsi Al-Shaeri and composed by Sabri Al-Sharif, and he took part in major Libyan operettas including "Alhan Khalida" in 1963 and "Al-Badiya" in 1965, forming a lasting partnership with the composer Hassan Oraibi. In 1967 he became the first Libyan artist to perform on the stage of the celebrated "Adwaa Al-Madina" show in Cairo, singing "Min Ghaibat Manaha" with lyrics by Othman Al-Wazri. Among his best-known songs are "Dari Athab Al-Shawq", "La Ya Hanin" and "Kayma Ta'arafna Mazilna", with which he returned in 2004; he died on 12 July 2024 at the age of eighty-five.
