إبراهيم الحسناوي

إبراهيم الحسناوي مطرب وملحن ليبي من مواليد طرابلس في الثامن من أبريل عام 1954، ويُعرف على نطاق واسع بلقب "أبو الريقي الليبي". بدأ مشواره الفني في منتصف السبعينات مع فرقته "أبناء الصحراء" قبل أن ينفصل عنها ويغني منفرداً، وتزامن ذلك مع انتشار موسيقى الريقي التي تعلق بها بعد اكتشافه أغاني بوب مارلي. نجح في تطويع إيقاعات الريقي الجامايكية لأداء الأغنية الليبية بكلماتها المحلية، فلاقى هذا اللون قبولاً واسعاً لدى الشباب وبقي حاضراً في ليبيا منذ أواخر السبعينات إلى اليوم. مثّل ليبيا في عدد من المهرجانات الدولية، ومن أشهر أعماله "عرفتك زين" و"أنا ليبي" و"Never Understand". وفي عام 2023 أعادت شركة حبيبي فنك الألمانية إصدار مختارات من أعماله في ألبوم بعنوان "The Father of Libyan Reggae".

Ibrahim Hasnawi is a Libyan singer and composer born in Tripoli on 8 April 1954, widely known as "the father of Libyan reggae". He began his career in the mid-1970s with his band Abnaa Al-Sahara before leaving it to perform solo, at a time when reggae was spreading and had captured him after he discovered Bob Marley's music. He succeeded in adapting Jamaican reggae rhythms to Libyan songs sung in local lyrics, a style that won wide acceptance among young listeners and has remained present in Libya from the late 1970s to today. He has represented Libya at several international festivals, and his best-known works include "Arreftek Zein", "Ana Libi" and "Never Understand". In 2023 the German label Habibi Funk reissued a selection of his recordings on the album "The Father of Libyan Reggae".
