مسعود القبلاوي

هو الشاعر مسعود محمد القبلاوي، ولد عام 1937 في مدينة العزيزية. عمل في قطاعي البريد والتأمين، ثم بالدار الوطنية للنشر ولجنة إجازة النصوص بالإذاعة الليبية. بدأ حياته الفنية ممثلاً في فرقة المسرح الليبي بطرابلس قبل أن يتفرغ لكتابة الشعر الغنائي، وله أكثر من ألف عمل غنائي تعامل خلالها مع أبرز الفنانين الليبيين والعرب منذ ستينيات القرن الماضي، من بينهم خالد سعيد ومحمد الجزيري ووديع الصافي وميادة الحناوي.

He is the poet Masoud Mohamed Al-Geblawi, born in 1937 in the city of Aziziyah. He worked in the postal and insurance sectors, then at the National Publishing House and the text-approval committee of Libyan Radio. He began his artistic life as an actor with the Libyan Theatre troupe in Tripoli before devoting himself fully to writing song lyrics, producing more than a thousand songs and working with leading Libyan and Arab artists from the 1960s onward, including Khaled Said, Mohamed Al-Jazairi, Wadih El Safi and Mayada El Hennawy.
