محمد الجفيلي

محمد محمد معتوق الجفيلي مطرب وممثل ليبي من مواليد سنة 1951 بسوق الجمعة في طرابلس. بدأ مسيرته في المسرح مطلع السبعينيات مع فرقة الأمل ثم المسرح الوطني وفرقة المسرح الليبي، وكان من المؤسسين الأوائل لمسرح الطفل بطرابلس المعروف اليوم بمسرح فرج قناو للطفل، والتحق بالهيئة العامة للمسرح والفنون سنة 1974. اعتُمد مطربًا سنة 1980، وتعامل مع الملحن عبد المجيد حقيق في أعمال منها "أزهي يا عين" و"يا وجه وطني" و"خسارة ما عرفتيش تحبي"، إضافة إلى أعمال اجتماعية مثل "هدي السرعة" و"يا ماما يا حنينة"، وهو أيضًا من فناني المالوف والموشحات. كُرّم سنة 2004 في مهرجان الأغنية الليبية بهون، ويُذكر بأنه أول من غنى للمنتخب الليبي لكرة القدم في منتصف الثمانينيات.

Mohamed Mohamed Maatouq al-Jfeili was a Libyan singer and actor born in 1951 in Souq al-Jumaa, Tripoli. He began in theatre in the early 1970s with the Amal troupe and later the National Theatre and the Libyan Theatre troupe, was among the founders of the children's theatre in Tripoli now known as the Faraj Qanaw Children's Theatre, and joined the General Authority for Theatre and Arts in 1974. He was certified as a singer in 1980 and worked with composer Abdulmajid Haqiq on songs including "Azhi Ya Ain", "Ya Wajh Watani" and "Khasara Ma Areftish Thibbi", alongside social-message songs such as "Haddi al-Suraa" and "Ya Mama Ya Hanina", and he also performed maluf and muwashshahat. He was honoured in 2004 at the Libyan Song Festival in Hun and is credited as the first Libyan artist to sing for the national football team in the mid-1980s.
