محمد الموجي

ملحن مصري وُلد في 4 مارس 1923 في بلدة بيلا بمحافظة كفر الشيخ. يُعد أحد أبرز مجددي الموسيقى والغناء العربي بعد ثورة يوليو 1952، ولحّن لكبار المطربين مثل عبد الحليم حافظ وأم كلثوم ونجاة الصغيرة، وترك رصيدًا يتجاوز 1800 لحن. توفي في 1 يوليو 1995.

An Egyptian composer born on 4 March 1923 in the town of Bila, Kafr El Sheikh governorate. He is considered one of the leading innovators of Arabic music and song after the July 1952 revolution, composing for major singers such as Abdel Halim Hafez, Umm Kulthum and Najat Al Saghira, and left behind a body of more than 1,800 compositions. He died on 1 July 1995.
