سمير الكردي مطرب شعبي ليبي يُوصف بأنه من أساطير الفن الشعبي في مدينة درنة، وبرز في زمن كبار مؤدي المرسكاوي. شارك في عدد كبير من الحفلات والبرامج التلفزيونية وغنى من كلمات شعراء ليبيين، من بينهم الشاعر الراحل فرج بالحمد في أغنية "لأنك". من أعماله المعروفة "ترتج" و"يا علام الغيب" و"مرحب يللي عهدك وافي" و"غالا غالا"، إضافة إلى ألبوم "السمرة". ظل حاضرًا في المشهد الفني الليبي وشارك في حفل افتتاح إحدى البطولات الرياضية ضمن نخبة من الفنانين الليبيين.
Samir Kurdi is a Libyan popular (shaabi) singer described as a legend of folk music in the city of Derna, who came up in the era of the great marskawi performers. He has appeared in many concerts and television programmes and has sung lyrics by Libyan poets, among them the late Faraj Balhamd in the song "Li'annak". His known works include "Tartaj", "Ya Allam al-Ghayb", "Marhab Yalli Ahdak Wafi" and "Gala Gala", as well as the album "Al-Samra". He has remained active in the Libyan music scene and performed alongside other Libyan artists at a sports tournament opening ceremony.
