Omar Jaafri

Omar al-Jaafari was a prominent Libyan musician and composer who wrote music for television and theatre from the early 1970s, starting with the program "Fakker wa Iksab" in 1971. He worked with stars of Libyan drama and comedy, and composed for many Libyan and Arab artists such as Ayman al-Atar, Zekra and Assala. The operetta "Win al-Malayin" is among his best known works. He died on 17 September 2018.

عمر الجعفري موسيقار وملحن ليبي بارز، لحّن للتلفزيون والمسرح منذ مطلع السبعينيات بدءا ببرنامج "فكر واكسب" عام 1971. عمل مع نجوم الدراما والكوميديا الليبية، ولحّن للعديد من الفنانين الليبيين والعرب مثل أيمن الأعتر وذكرى محمد وأصالة نصري. تُعد أوبريت "وين الملايين" من أشهر أعماله. توفي في 17 سبتمبر 2018.
